Stanley Engineering Works

We are tucked away in the Shreyas Industrial Estate, unit B-107, just off the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. Being right by the Jay Coach stop makes it easy for the staff to get here, even if the traffic on the highway is a nightmare most mornings. The workshop has been our home for a long time. It’s got that old-school engineering smell—oil, metal, and a bit of exhaust. We aren’t some high-tech lab; we’re a working shop where things get made and fixed. There are usually a few projects sitting on the floor waiting for parts or a final check. The guys have been with us for years and they know the machines inside out. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everything is running at once, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. We handle various engineering tasks that come our way from other businesses in the area. It’s steady work and we like the routine of it. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the invoices and some old blueprints. We don’t have any fancy displays or a waiting room. People usually just walk right into the shop area to talk to us. It’s practical and it works for us. We’ve seen Goregaon change a lot around us, but inside these walls, things stay pretty much the same. Most days we are just busy with the lathes and tools.
