Our office is in the Bharat Chamber building on Baroda Street, right at room 504. If you know the Masjid Bunder East area, you know how crowded and busy P’ Dmello Road can get. It’s a real hub for trade and commerce, and we’ve been part of it for quite a while now. Sss Machine Tool Co. P Ltd. deals with exactly what the name says—machine tools. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and customers, trying to get the right tools to the right people. The office is often full of catalogs and spec sheets. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in paperwork, but that’s the nature of the business. Outside, the streets are always packed with handcarts and trucks loading and unloading goods. It’s a high-energy environment, which keeps us on our toes. We don’t have a lot of time for fluff or corporate talk; we just focus on the specs of the tools and making sure the orders are accurate. People come to us because we’ve been around and we know the industry reasonably well. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but in a place like Masjid Bunder, that’s usually what works best. We just keep going, day after day, helping folks find the parts they need for their workshops.
