Srinathjis

You can find us over in Mahim, right on Yusuf Meherali Road along L J Marg. It’s a busy spot, always crowded with people walking to the station or heading home after work. We’ve been running Srinathjis here for quite a while now. The shop isn’t huge, but we make use of every inch of space we have on the shelves. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the store pretty hard, so we usually keep the shade down halfway. It gets quite noisy with the buses and cars honking right outside our door, but that’s just how life is in this part of Mahim. We open up early and stay until the last few customers finish their shopping. Most of the folks who come in are locals who live in the nearby buildings and have been stopping by for years. We know their names, and they know ours. It’s not some polished corporate outlet where everything looks perfect. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty from the road work outside, and we’re always moving boxes around to find what someone needs. We just try to keep things stocked up so people can get what they want without a hassle. Working on L J Marg means there’s always something happening, whether it’s a festival or just the usual rush hour. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs. It’s a decent place to be for us.
