Spicet

Our place, Spicet, is located right on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road at number 77. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here for a while, just doing our daily routine. It is a simple setup, nothing that would make you think we are some big company. We handle the cooking and the cleaning ourselves. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door when it’s heavy, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make food and serve it to the people who come in. The kitchen gets hot in the afternoons, but that’s just part of the job. We have a few regulars who have been coming since we first opened. They know where everything is and sometimes they even help us move a table if we’re busy. We aren't interested in being the top-rated place in the city. We just want to make sure the people who eat here are satisfied. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still here at number 77. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things honest and simple.
