Our team works out of the second floor of the Dtc Building in Sitaram Mills. This area on Delisle Road in Lower Parel East is full of old mill buildings that have been turned into offices. It is an interesting place to work because of all that history in the walls. We spend our days dealing with the logistics of fresh juice. It is a fast-moving business because everything has a short shelf life. Our office is not overly decorated; it is mostly just desks, computers, and a few fridges where we keep the latest batches. You can hear the hum of the city outside all the time. Lower Parel is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. We get here early to make sure the morning shipments are on their way to the stores. Sometimes the elevators in these old buildings are a bit temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs. We have a small area where we taste the new blends and talk about what is working. It is a lot of coordination between the people in the office and the folks at the cold storage. We are not a huge corporate team; we are just a group of people who are busy making sure things stay cold and fresh. The atmosphere is casual, and we often have crates of fruit sitting around. It is a practical workspace for a practical job. We just keep the juices moving.
