If you come to Andheri West, you might know the Silver Arc building. That is where we are located, specifically in Office No 1406. It is a big building and we are way up there. The Gorai area is always busy with people coming and going. We do organic chemicals here at Lakshmiji Organics. Most of our work is done on the phone or through emails, sitting at our desks and trying to keep everything organized. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except when the phones are all ringing at once. We have some files stacked up and some samples on the shelves. It’s not a showroom, just a place where we manage the business side of things. Getting to the 14th floor takes a minute with the elevators, especially during the lunch hour when everyone is moving. We see the city from the window but we don't spend much time looking. There is always a list of things to do and people to call back. The address says Sha, but everyone just calls the building Silver Arc. We deal with suppliers and factories mostly. It’s a regular office life with tea breaks and some talk about the traffic on the way home. We try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It is just a solid place to work in the middle of a very busy part of Mumbai. We get our work done and then go home like everyone else.
