Spice Star

Spice Star is tucked away in Malad West, right in the BMC Colony at Kharodi No 1. It is a busy neighborhood and we are part of the daily noise there. The shop is at 1/7 and it is not very big, but we make it work for us. Most of our days are spent dealing with bags of spices and making sure the kitchen is ready for the day. We started this because there was not much around this specific corner of the colony. It gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Sometimes we run out of things if the delivery truck is late, but that is just how it goes here. The building is a bit older, so we are always painting or fixing a leak somewhere. We don't spend money on fancy ads. People just know where we are at Kharodi No 1. The heat in the kitchen gets pretty intense during the summer months. We just keep the fans going and keep moving. It is a simple operation. We do what we can with the space we have. You might hear the local kids playing outside while you wait for your food. It feels like home to us. Malad West is a hectic place, but our little spot in the BMC Colony stays pretty steady. We just keep the food coming and the prices fair for everyone.
