Spice Jar

Spice Jar is located at 181, Kalpataru Heights on Sane Guruji Marg in Mumbai Central. Being in such a busy part of Mumbai means there is never a dull moment. Our setup is tucked away in the building, and that’s where all the magic happens. We spend our mornings checking the spice inventory and making sure everything is fresh. Mumbai Central is a melting pot, and we try to reflect that in what we cook. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It's just a small team of us who share a love for good, honest food. The pace here is fast, and we often find ourselves rushing to meet deadlines or navigating through the city's infamous traffic to get to an event. It's not a glamorous life; there’s a lot of cleaning, scrubbing pots, and standing on hard floors. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook. Sometimes we forget to update our records or the phone rings off the hook when we're in the middle of a big prep, but we try our best to keep up. We’ve lived in this area for a long time and appreciate the people who stop by to say hello. For us, it’s about the daily grind and the satisfaction of seeing a finished meal ready to be served on Sane Guruji Marg. We just take things as they come.
