We are located over in Chembur, specifically in the Tata Colony area. Our office is in Type 2/3B near Azzizbaug on Mahul Road. It is a bit of a different spot for a BPO, tucked away in a residential colony like this instead of a tech park. We have folks coming in for all sorts of shifts, both day and night. You will always hear the sound of typing and people talking on their headsets if you walk in. It is not a huge glass tower like the ones you see in advertisements. It is just a practical workspace for us. We have got our desks set up and a small area where we take our tea breaks. Mahul Road gets really busy with all the trucks, but inside we just try to focus on the calls we have to take. Mumbai 74 is a decent area to work in. Most of us live nearby, so we do not have to travel too far on the trains. We are not doing anything fancy, just answering questions and fixing problems over the phone for people. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It is just part of life here. We have been in this building for a while now. It feels more like a community than a cold office. We know each other’s families and what is going on in the neighborhood. Just a bunch of people working hard to get through the day's tasks together.
