Our business, Sparque Industrial Products (OPC) Private Limited, is situated right in the middle of the chaos at Crawford Market. We are on the second floor of Brushwell House, which is Plot 238/240 on Nagdevi Street. If you’ve ever been to Nagdevi Street, you know it’s packed with shops selling all kinds of industrial goods and hardware. That’s exactly why we are here. Our office is small and usually has boxes of samples or catalogs lying around. It’s a very old building, like most things in Mandvi, so it has that specific Mumbai character. Getting up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb if the stairs are crowded. We deal with industrial products, so we spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and customers who are also in the area. It’s a very busy, noisy place to work, but it’s where the trade happens. We don’t have any fancy showroom. It’s more of a functional space for handling orders and paperwork. The walls are a bit dusty and the light isn't the best, but we like being in the heart of the market. It feels real. We’ve been at this Nagdevi Street spot for a while and we know most of the neighbors. It’s just a regular industrial supply office doing its thing every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby, we just want to get the products moved.
