Sony Entertainment Television

The office for Sony Entertainment Television is right here in Sai Suman building, tucked away in Sai Nath Nagar. If you know Borivali West, you know how D. N. Mhatre Road can get. It’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. We deal with a lot of TV stuff, but on the ground level, it’s mostly just us sitting at desks and making phone calls. There’s always someone running around with a script or a hard drive. It gets a bit loud when the tea break happens. We’ve been in this Eksar area for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a lot. People often ask us what it’s like working for a big name, but honestly, it feels like any other office once you’re inside. We have to deal with the same computer crashes and slow elevators as everyone else. The monsoon makes the commute to Borivali a bit of a struggle, but we manage. We aren’t really trying to change the world; we just want to get the shows ready and make sure everything is on track. It’s a lot of coordination between different departments. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is close, and we end up ordering food from the place down the street. It’s just a normal job with normal people trying to do their best in a busy part of Mumbai. It's dusty sometimes, but it's ours.
