So we are based over here at Carmicheal Road, right by the Consulate General of Japan. It’s a pretty famous spot in Mumbai - 400026. The office address is No-1, M.L. Dahanukar Marg. Working for Sony Entertainment Television Pvt Ltd means things are always moving fast. You’d think it would be all glitz and glamour because it's TV, but mostly it's just us in an office making sure things run right. The building is nice, but it gets very busy around here. Parking is a nightmare most mornings. We have people coming in and out all day long for meetings or to drop off tapes and files. I usually take the bus or a cab because driving is too much of a headache. Our desks are covered in papers and coffee mugs. Sometimes we stay late when a show is launching or something goes wrong with the schedule. The air conditioning is always too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our chairs. We aren't really the ones you see on the screen. We are the ones sitting behind the computers making sure the signal stays up and the programs are ready. It’s a lot of coordination between different departments. Even with the big name, it’s just a bunch of regular people working hard in a busy part of Mumbai. We see the consulate every day from the windows. The view of the consulate is the only thing that stays the same while our schedules are constantly changing around here.
