Somnath Art Service

Somnath Art Service is a small operation based in Santacruz West. You can find us on Sampige Road, which is right near the Akbarally shop. This part of the city is always crowded and there is a lot of noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We do various kinds of art and painting work for the people in the neighborhood. It’s not a fancy studio with air conditioning and modern furniture. It’s just a basic space where we keep our brushes, oils, and paints. We spend our days working on different projects, sometimes it's a sign for a shop or some decorative work for a home. We don't use big machines or complicated software. Everything we do is done by hand, which takes a bit of time and a steady grip. Being near Akbarally makes it easy for folks to find us when they are out doing their shopping. We start our work early and sometimes stay late if a project is almost finished. We aren't a big company with a lot of employees. It’s just a few of us who enjoy the craft. We don't have a polished way of talking about our work. We just show people what we’ve done and let them decide. It’s a simple life on Sampige Road and we’re happy to be part of the local community here. We just do our best each day and try to get things right.
