Solid Carbide Rools Limited

We are over at R/402 in the T.T.C. Indl. Estate Area. It’s part of the Midc in Rebala. Solid Carbide Rools Limited is a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we just think of it as the workshop. We do a lot of work with carbide, which is tough stuff to handle. The machines we use are heavy and they make a specific kind of high-pitched noise when they’re cutting. You get used to it after the first week. The estate is pretty huge, and we are just one unit among many others. It’s a lot of gray concrete and metal around here. Inside our space, things are organized as much as they can be. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure things are right. It’s not the kind of work you can rush. We have a small corner for making tea and taking a few minutes off when the heat gets to be too much. Most of the guys have been here for years, so we know how each other works without having to say much. It’s a quiet kind of place, despite the machine noise. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. We just do the orders that come in from other factories. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just stick to what we know.
