SOIL&ROCK INFRA LLP

Being at Kailash Tower in Chandivali means we see a lot of traffic, especially because we are right next to the S M Shetty School. Most mornings are a bit loud with the school buses and parents dropping off their kids. Our office is at Flat 1004. We do a lot of the ground-level work with soil and rock, basically the stuff that happens before a big building can go up. It is often messy work. We spend a lot of our time looking at site plans and talking to contractors on the phone. The Mumbai humidity doesn't really help when we have to go out on the field for an inspection. Inside the office, it is mostly just us trying to keep the paperwork straight and making sure the records are filed correctly. We have been in this Powai location for a while now. The building itself is okay but nothing special to look at. We usually go out for tea at the small stall down the road when things get too quiet. Sometimes the lifts are slow, but that is just how it goes here. We focus on getting the infrastructure part right because if the base is wrong, everything else just fails later on. It is not glamorous work. It is just digging and planning and making sure everything stays where it is supposed to be. We are a small team and people are coming and going all day long.
