Society General Stores

Society General Stores is located in the Ektavivek Building at number 10 in Dahisar. It is a local place where we sell groceries and household items. The shop is on the ground floor, so it is easy for people living in the building to just pop down when they need something. We have been here for a while. It is a small shop, not like the big supermarkets you see in the mall. We keep the basic things people need every day. There are rows of biscuits, some cleaning supplies, and dairy products in the small fridge. The space is a bit tight but we manage to organize everything. Dahisar is a busy area, but our street is usually okay. I spend a lot of time checking the expiry dates and making sure everything is fresh. People come in to chat as much as they do to buy things. We know who likes which brand of tea and who prefers a specific type of soap. It is just how things work around here. We do not use any fancy computers, just a simple book for our accounts. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the traffic on the main road, but we make do. If you live in Ektavivek or nearby, you probably know where we are. We just keep the doors open and wait for the regulars to show up. It is a simple business, nothing more than that.
