Social Media India Limited

We are way up on the 17th floor of the Jolly Highrise Apartments. It’s the Q-2 unit. Being that high up in Pali gives you a pretty good view of the neighborhood, though we are usually too busy looking at our screens to notice it much. Social Media India Limited is the name, and we do exactly what you’d think. We spend our whole day on the internet. It sounds like a fun job, and it is mostly, but it’s also a lot of typing and clicking. The elevator in this building is really slow, so you have to leave early if you want to be on time. If you miss a turn, you're stuck waiting forever. The office is quite bright because of the big windows. We have a few plants that are mostly dying because nobody remembers to water them. There is a small kitchen area where we keep our lunch boxes. Usually, by 2:00 PM, the whole place smells like different types of curry. It’s a good group of people here. We talk a lot about what is trending or what people are saying online. It feels a bit strange to spend your whole life in a virtual world while sitting in a concrete building in Pali, but that’s the modern world. We are just a small part of it. The 17th floor gets a bit windy during the monsoon season, and you can hear the rain hitting the glass.
