Our workshop and office is located right in the K.E.M. Hospital Compound at Garage Chwal, specifically Room Number 2 on Dr. S.S. Rao Road in Parel. Being in Mumbai, and especially in an area like Parel, means it is always incredibly busy around here. There is a constant stream of people and traffic. Our space is small and tucked away, which is quite common for businesses in this part of the city. We do precision technical work, so we have a lot of tools and machines squeezed into our room. It’s not a shiny lab or a high-tech facility you’d see in a magazine. It’s a working shop where things get made and fixed. The air is often thick with the smell of metal and oil. Our team consists of a few skilled workers who know exactly what they are doing with their hands. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or long emails. If something needs to be made or repaired, we just get to it. Parel has a long history of this kind of industry, and we feel like a small part of that tradition. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped, and the noise from the hospital area is always there, but we are used to it. We just focus on the precision of the work in front of us and making sure every piece is right before it goes out.
