Klassique Leather

Klassique Leather is tucked away in No. 12/b Chandulal Apartments. If you know the Gold Filled Enclave on Sion-bandra Link Road, you know the traffic is always a bit much around here. We aren't in a big factory building, just this apartment space where we handle most of the leather stuff. It smells like hide and glue most of the time, which you get used to after a week. We have been here for a good while now. The space is a bit cramped because of all the rolls of leather sitting around. Sometimes it’s hard to find a clear spot on the table to actually cut anything. We mostly work with local suppliers to get what we need. It’s just a few of us here, sitting under the fans and trying to keep things moving. The Link Road outside is always noisy with horns, but inside we just focus on the stitching. We don't have a flashy showroom. Most people just find us through word of mouth or by stopping by the apartments. It’s a bit of a maze getting to No. 12/b if you haven’t been here before. We spend a lot of time checking the grains of the leather and making sure the edges are okay. It’s slow work sometimes, but that’s just how it is with leather. We like being in this part of town despite the congestion. It keeps us close to the center of things.
