Syndec Leather Works

Our workshop, Syndec Leather Works, is located at 4/C-30 in Dr. Baliga Nagar. We’re right off Jasmine Mill Road in Mahim East. If you know this area, you know it’s known for this kind of work. The smell of leather is pretty strong as soon as you walk in. It’s a busy place with a lot of scraps on the floor and tools everywhere. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It’s just a place where we cut, glue, and stitch all day long. The building is a bit old, but it serves us well enough. We’ve been working here for quite a long time and the neighborhood has its own rhythm that we’ve become part of. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we don't really need to talk much while we work. We just know what needs doing. It’s a bit hot in the summer and the fans don't always do enough, but we keep at it. We aren't interested in sounding like a big brand. We’re just a leather shop in Mahim. We take pride in the actual physical work, even if our aprons are a bit messy. It’s a straightforward trade and we do it in a straightforward way. That's just how Syndec Leather Works operates. We just keep our heads down and finish the pieces one by one.
