Ba & Sons

Ba & Sons is located at 21, Akhade Ki Chawl, on M Azad Road near Mumbai Central. It is a very crowded and old part of the city, and our space reflects that. It is a small room in an old chawl building where we keep our inventory and handle our daily business. We also do some work or have a presence out at Jain Heights on the Pune Nashik Road, so we are often busy coordinating between these two very different locations. The Mumbai spot is where the heart of the business is, though. It is a family-run place, so you will usually find me or one of my sons sitting at the old wooden desk near the entrance. The walls are a bit stained and the floorboards creak when you walk on them. We don't have any flashy signs or a website to show off what we do. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they have been dealing with us for decades. The street outside is a constant swirl of activity, with people, carts, and cars all trying to move at once. It can be quite exhausting, but we are used to the noise by now. We deal in various goods and hardware items, keeping things as organized as we can in such a small space. We take our time with each person who comes in, often sharing a cup of tea while we talk about what they need.
