Kash Wallets & Bags

We are situated at 66/67 on Link Road in Dharavi. If you know this part of the city, you know it is always full of energy and people working hard. Our shop and workspace are right in the middle of it all. There is a very specific smell of leather and adhesive that stays in the air here, which we don't even notice anymore. We spend our time cutting materials, stitching seams, and checking zippers on wallets and bags. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of sewing machines running in the background and the traffic from Link Road just outside the door. We aren't a big brand with fancy packaging. We just make sturdy bags and wallets that people can actually use. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of fabric and thread by the end of the day. We have a few shelves where we display the finished pieces, but most of the space is taken up by the work itself. Being in Dharavi means we are part of a huge network of makers and creators. We take pride in just sitting at the machine and finishing a good piece of work. It’s a bit cramped and sometimes it gets hot, but that’s the reality of a workshop like ours. We just keep producing what we can and selling it to those who pass by. It is honest work for us.
