R. Tejas Leather

You can find R. Tejas Leather at No. 5 Jankidas on the Sion-Bandra Link Road. We are right there in Dharavi, across from Mehta Enterprises. If you get lost, just look for Gold Slide Plaza, we are near that too. It is a very busy area with lots of leather shops and people moving around all the time. Dharavi has its own rhythm and we are right in the middle of it. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. There is always the smell of leather in the air here. We spend our days cutting, stitching, and sorting through piles of material. It is dusty and loud outside with all the traffic on the link road. Sometimes we have to shout just to hear each other over the trucks. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is just a place where we do the work. The people who work here live nearby, so it is a real community feel. We have been at this spot for a long time. People know us as the place near the plaza. We don't go in for big advertisements. Usually, someone just hears about us from a friend and stops by. We just try to make things that last. That is the main thing for us at R. Tejas Leather. It is hard work but we enjoy seeing the finished products stacked up at the end of the day. We don't talk much, we just get the leather ready for whoever needs it.
