Our base is in Flat 506 at Autumn Groove, which is part of the Lokhandwala Township in Kandivli. It’s a busy residential area, and working from a flat here in Mumbai has its own set of quirks. You get the usual sounds of the township life, kids playing, and people heading to the station. We handle various parts of our group from this one spot. It’s a bit crowded with all the files and desks we’ve squeezed in, but it works for us. Kandivli is a long way from the city center, but there’s a lot going on here. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything; you just come up the lift and find us. The balcony gives us a bit of a view when things get too hectic inside. Most of our days are spent on the computer or chatting about the different businesses we manage. It’s a small team, and we all know each other’s lunch habits by now. We don't really do the corporate dress code thing; we just wear what’s comfortable for the Mumbai humidity. It’s a straightforward setup. We focus on keeping the different companies running smoothly without making a big deal out of it. Sometimes the building maintenance is a bit of a headache, but that’s just living and working in Mumbai. We just get on with it every day and try to stay organized.
