You can find us at Gala No. 9 in the Loyalka Estate. We’re right next to the Shiv Krupa Hotel, which is usually where we tell people to look if they’re lost. The Jangleshwar Mandir is also very close by, so it’s a landmark everyone knows in Andheri East. It’s a typical industrial estate vibe here. Lots of noise from the other galas and the smell of grease and metal. Shubham Engineering Works has been in this spot for a good while. The space is filled with machines and workbenches. It’s not the cleanest place because engineering work is messy by nature. We’re always busy with some project or another, grinding or fixing parts. Andheri East is always crowded, so getting stuff in and out takes some patience. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The guys here have been doing this for years, so we know the machines inside out. Sometimes neighbors from the estate drop in for a chat or to borrow a tool. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor with grease on our hands. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get the orders out on time. That’s basically the long and short of it. It’s a small shop but we keep very busy with all the different requests that come in every single day.
