Shriram Machanical Industries

Shriram Machanical Industries is based in the old Woollen Mill Compound on Lake Road. Being in Bhandup West, we are surrounded by a lot of other small workshops and industrial units that have been here for decades. The compound has a lot of history, and you can see it in the weathered walls and the heavy old gate at the entrance. We do a lot of heavy mechanical work here. It’s the kind of place where you need to wear sturdy boots because there’s always some metal scrap or heavy parts on the floor that might trip you up. Our machines are old but reliable, and we spend a fair amount of time maintaining them so they don't let us down. The ventilation isn't the best during the monsoon season, but we've got enough fans to keep the air moving while we work. We aren't the type to put on suits or hold long board meetings about things that don't matter. Most of our decisions are made right there on the shop floor while looking at a part that needs turning or fixing. We have a few guys who have been with us since we started, and they know the rhythm of the place better than anyone. We get our work done, have our tea when the bell rings, and try to make sure everything we send out is solid. It's not a complicated philosophy, just practical mechanical work in a part of town that’s seen a lot of changes.
