It isn't the easiest place to find if you aren't a local, but we’ve been here long enough that people know us. The building is an old-school estate, and our unit is usually filled with the scent of whatever came in fresh that morning. We don't have a big showroom. It’s more of a workshop where we spend the day stripping thorns and putting together different arrangements. The floor is usually a bit slippery from all the water we use, so we have to be careful when we’re moving around. Worli is a fast-paced part of Mumbai, and we definitely feel that energy every single day. We get a lot of people from the nearby offices stopping in. Our hands get pretty beat up from the wires and the scissors we use, but that’s just part of the trade. We don’t try to make the shop look perfect because it’s a place for work. There are stacks of boxes and piles of wrapping material in the corners. It can get a bit chaotic when we have a lot of orders to finish at the same time, but we have our own way of doing things. We just keep moving and do what needs to be done.
