Shri Ram Stores

Our store is at number 216, right across from the Post Office and near Infinity Mall. Being in the Chembur area near the Shivaji International Airport means things are always moving fast around here. The shop is a typical local spot. We have a lot of items crammed into a relatively small space. There are boxes stacked in the corners and items hanging from the ceiling hooks. The counter is right at the front so we can see everyone coming in from the street. It gets dusty quickly with all the airport traffic nearby, so we are constantly cleaning. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things get quiet, but that doesn't happen often. The light from the street comes in through the front, but we have some bright bulbs inside too so people can see what they are buying. We keep a ledger to track what we need to order next. The neighborhood is a mix of people going to the mall and those heading to the post office. We get all kinds of customers. Some are in a huge rush, and others want to chat for ten minutes. The floor is just plain concrete, and the walls are painted a light color that’s faded over time. We don't have a fancy display, just the products on the shelves. It’s just a regular store trying to keep up with the daily needs of the people.
