Shri Datta Travels

So we are based over in Wadala at number 2. It’s a bit of a cramped area sometimes especially when the big vehicles are moving through the streets but we make it work. The office is mostly just a place for us to sit down, answer the phones, and keep track of where everyone is supposed to be. Shri Datta Travels has been around for a bit and we mostly spend our time looking at maps or talking to drivers who are stuck in traffic somewhere in the city. Wadala is a central spot so it helps with getting around but the noise never really stops. We have a few chairs and a desk covered in papers and old logbooks. It’s not a fancy setup at all, just a practical space for a travel business. Most days the fan is just spinning and we are drinking chai while trying to organize the next day's schedule. Sometimes customers come in to ask about rates or just to check on a booking they made. We don't really do much advertising, mostly just people in the neighborhood knowing we are here. It gets quite hot in the afternoons so we usually keep the door open to get some air from the street. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure the keys are in the right hands. Nothing too complicated, just the daily grind of keeping things moving on the road through Mumbai.
