Shreeni Florist

If you head over to the Lokhandwala Complex and go up to the 1st floor of the Rna Arcade, you will find us at Shreeni Florist. We are at shop number 61. It is a lively spot because the arcade has so many different kinds of businesses all packed together. You can hear music from one shop and people arguing about prices at another. Being on the first floor means people have to specifically come looking for us, rather than just stumbling in from the street, but we have plenty of regulars who know exactly where we are. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying a lot of bags, but most people don't seem to mind. Our shop is quite small, and we often have buckets and boxes taking up most of the floor space. We try to keep things tidy, but when a new shipment comes in, it's a bit of a mess for an hour or two while we sort everything out. Andheri is always crowded, so just getting our supplies up to the arcade can be a bit of a task depending on the time of day. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the other shop owners in the arcade when things are slow. It feels like a little community inside the building. We don't use any fancy systems or high-end decor. It’s just a simple shop with plenty of light and the usual tools of the trade like scissors and green tape lying around on the counters.
