Shreedisha Travels

Our place is at 156 M G Road, specifically in the Ashoka Shopping Centre on the first floor. The survey number for the plot is 43/1/2 on Nda Road if you are looking at the legal maps. Being in the shopping centre means we are right in the middle of all the noise and bustle of the M G Road area. People are always popping in while they are out doing their other errands. We have a small office up on the first floor where we keep all the ticket printers and the computers. It’s not the biggest space, but it fits our desks and a couple of chairs for people to sit while we look up flights or bus routes for them. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and a few old posters of places far away. We spend most of our day on the phone or clicking through screens, trying to find the right timings. M G Road is always packed, so the sound of horns and people shouting is just part of the background here. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure names are spelled right on the forms. We don't have any big mission or anything like that; we just try to get the bookings done without any mistakes. It is a straightforward job that keeps us connected to the community. When it gets quiet, we just sort through the files and wait for the next person to walk up the stairs.
