Shree Swami Samarth General Store

Shree Swami Samarth General Store is situated at Plot Number 325, in Shop Number 16. We are right opposite the Corporation Bank at Amboli Naka in Andheri East. Being in Mumbai, space is always tight, so our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of household items. We have everything from soap and snacks to small plastic containers and cleaning supplies. It’s a busy corner of Andheri, and there is always a flow of people coming in from the bank or just walking past the Naka. We open early in the morning and stay open until late because that’s when people realize they forgot to buy something for dinner or the kids' school. The shop can feel a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once, but we know exactly which shelf holds the tea leaves and which one has the light bulbs. We don’t have a website or a fancy logo; the sign outside is a bit faded from the sun and the monsoon rain. It’s a family-run kind of thing where you might see the kids helping out after school or a cousin sitting behind the counter. We know most of our regular customers by their names and what they usually buy every week. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like being part of the noise and life of the Amboli area. Every day is different depending on who walks through the door.
