Shree Siddhivinayak Provision Store

We are located at Plot No. 62/64 on Kolbat Lane, which is off Dr. Velkar Street in the Kalbadevi area. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow. We are not too far from the Marine Drive station, so we get a lot of commuters stopping by on their way to or from the train. The store is packed with all sorts of provisions, from rice and flour to spices and soap. Space is tight, so we have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. You have to be careful walking through the aisles so you don't knock anything over. It’s always a bit humid here, especially during the monsoon months when the air feels heavy. We know many of our customers by name because they have been coming to us for years. They come in for their daily supplies and often stay for a quick chat about the neighborhood or the weather. It’s a very personal way of doing business. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights; it’s just a traditional provision store. Most of our day is spent restocking items or weighing out bags of grain for people. The noise of the city is always there in the background—the sounds of horns, bells, and people talking. It’s a busy, cramped, but friendly place to be, right in the heart of Mumbai’s hustle.
