Shree Shivji Krupa General Stores

If you head over to Mangal Bhavan, you’ll find us on the third floor. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a general store, being up there in shop number 3, but we’ve made it work. The address says Andheri East, but we’re tucked away near that 3rd Cross Cubbonpet area in the old building. It’s a small space, and we’ve filled every inch of it with things people might need. We sell all sorts of everyday items, from soap to snacks and stationery. It’s a lot of climbing stairs for some, but our regulars don’t seem to mind much. We spend a lot of our time checking inventory and making sure we haven't run out of the basics. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we keep the door open to get some air from the hallway. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city, just a reliable place for the people living and working nearby. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the dusting because there are just so many small items to keep track of. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we take turns minding the counter. You won't find any fancy displays here, just shelves packed tight with goods. It’s a busy little corner of the building, and there’s always someone coming in for a last-minute item they forgot to buy elsewhere.
