We are located over at Plot No. M-2 in the MIDC area of Ambad. It’s a pretty standard industrial spot, really. There’s always the sound of someone grinding metal or a truck backing up nearby. We started this engineering business because we knew how to work with the machines and there was work to be had here. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular workshop with high ceilings and plenty of grease on the floor. Most days, the sun beats down on the metal roof and it gets quite warm inside, but that is just part of the job. We have a small crew and we mostly just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the electricity acts up or a machine needs a part we have to wait for, which can be frustrating. We don't have a big reception area or a person to answer phones all day. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands on a rag and goes to pick it up. We do a lot of different types of engineering work, mostly whatever the local factories in Ambad need. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we like being our own bosses. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular people trying to make a living and doing a decent job with the tools we have, without any of that fancy corporate talk.
