You can find Shree Mahalaxmi Sales & Services at 6 Kharodi on Lady Jamshedji Road. We are in the Capricon building, right across from St Jude’s High School. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the school is. The shop is a mix of things for sale and things we are fixing. It’s not a large space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. There are tools and spare parts scattered on the workbench. We like being on Lady Jamshedji Road because there is always something happening outside. Sometimes the kids from the school come by or parents waiting for their children. We’ve been here for a good amount of time. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. We don't go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who know we are here. It’s a bit of a lived-in feel, with some stacks of papers and old ledgers on the desk. We just focus on the sales and the repairs we have to finish each day. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a small local shop doing its bit in the Kharodi area. We keep the kettle going for tea in the afternoon.
