Shree Krishna Dairy

We've been at Shop No 3 on J N Road for quite some time now. People around Bhandup West usually know where Kemps Corner is, so finding us isn't too hard. We open up pretty early because that's when most people want their milk and curd for the day. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, just a counter and some fridges to keep everything cold. My family helps out behind the counter, and we see the same faces every morning. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the morning rush hits, but we try to move fast so nobody is waiting too long on the sidewalk. We stock the usual stuff like paneer and ghee, and sometimes we have sweets if it's the right time of year. The fridge hums all day which can be a bit loud, but you get used to it. We don't really do much advertising, mostly it’s just folks walking by or neighbors telling each other where to get fresh milk. The shop hasn't changed much over the years, maybe a new coat of paint here and there. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the floor clean. If you're around J N Road, you'll see our sign. It's a simple life running a dairy, but it keeps us busy and we like chatting with the regulars who've been coming here since they were kids. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult but we stay open regardless.
