If you come down to Shri Ganesh Market on Pandurang Wadi Road in Goregaon East, you’ll find us at number 41308. Our store is a bit of a mix of everything you might need. We have shelves packed with all sorts of daily items that people in the neighborhood need for their homes. It can get a little cramped in here when we get a new delivery and haven't had time to put everything away yet. The market is always loud and full of life, which we enjoy. I spend most of my day behind the counter talking to the regulars who stop by for their usual supplies. It’s a local spot where people know each other’s names and stop for a chat. We don’t really do anything fancy; we just try to keep the things people ask for in stock. Sometimes the power goes out or the heavy rain makes it hard for people to come in, but we stay open regardless. The shop has been here for years, and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories about the changes in Goregaon over the decades. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they need something for their kitchen or their house. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us and for the people around Pandurang Wadi. We just keep the shelves full and the doors open for everyone.
