Shree Ganesh Ice Creams

Shree Ganesh Ice Creams is located in Goregaon East, specifically near Nagdevi Street in Shivaji Nagar, right off Filmcity Road. We’ve been in this little corner for a good while. It’s a small shop with a few big freezers that hum all day and night. We make our own ice cream in the back room. It’s a simple process with milk, sugar, and whatever flavors we have that day. We don't have those fancy toppings or neon signs. It’s just a place to get a cold treat when it’s hot outside. The walls are painted a light blue, but they could probably use a new coat soon. We see a lot of people coming from the Filmcity area, some workers and sometimes students. My son helps me out in the evenings when the crowd picks up. We have a couple of plastic stools outside for people to sit on, but most just stand and eat. It’s a noisy street with lots of bikes passing by. We don’t do any big promotions. We just keep the freezers full and wait for people to stop in. Sometimes the machine breaks down and we have to wait a day for the repairman, which is frustrating. But mostly, it’s just a steady routine of mixing and freezing. We’re happy with how things are going here in Goregaon. It’s a small life but it works for us and the locals.
