Shree Ganesh Ice Cream

At Shree Ganesh Ice Cream, we are right on Gokhale Road 1057 in the middle of Worli. This part of the city never really stops moving, so there is always noise from the street coming into the shop. We have been here for a long time and the building is showing its age a bit, but we like it. The walls have some cracks and the floor is worn down from people walking in and out all day. We keep the ice cream cold in those big chest freezers that take up most of the room. It gets really crowded in here on Friday nights when people are out for a walk. My brother and I run the place and we don't have any other staff. We do everything from cleaning the counters to ordering the stock from the suppliers. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for people to park, so they just hop out of their cars real quick to grab a cone. We have a small radio that we keep on the shelf to listen to the news or some music. It’s not a polished place with big advertisements, just a simple counter where you can get a scoop of something cold. We just try to keep the freezers running and the customers happy enough to come back next week. It is honest work and we have been doing it for years now without much fuss.
