Our office is in Andheri, specifically at unit 311 A/B. It’s one of those big buildings where you have to wait a long while for the elevator to arrive. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now. The office is usually full of maps and brochures for different trips, but they are often a bit disorganized on the shelves. We have a few computers that are getting a bit old and slow, but they still work well enough for booking trips. It’s always busy because Andheri is such a central place for everyone to meet. People are always dropping in to ask about prices or to pick up their travel itineraries before they leave. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a fountain or a big rug. It’s just a plain room with some desks and chairs. We spend a lot of time talking to bus operators and hotels on the phone. Sometimes the phones don’t stop ringing for hours and it gets a bit overwhelming. It can get a bit loud when we are all trying to talk to different customers at once. We don't use any big words or complicated sales pitches to get people to buy. We just tell them what’s available and how much it costs that day. My brother and I started this after we worked for another travel company for a decade. We just wanted to do our own thing. (252 words)
