Shrav Precision Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is located over at F1 and F2 in the Khalsa Compound on Village Road. It’s in Subhash Nagar, which is a busy little pocket. Our workshop is usually full of the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal being turned on the lathes. It’s a precision job, so we spend a lot of time looking at tiny measurements and making sure everything is exactly where it should be. The compound can be a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of raw materials arriving. Village Road always has something going on, so there’s never a quiet moment. We aren't some big corporate entity with a lobby and a receptionist. When you come here, you’re basically walking right into the middle of the work. Most of us have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. We just focus on the technical side of things and try to get the parts out as accurately as possible. Sometimes the machines act up or the heat makes things difficult, but that’s just part of being in an engineering shop. We’ve been at this address for years and know most of the other shop owners in the Khalsa Compound. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just stick to what we know, which is making parts that fit right.
