Showtime Events India Pvt Ltd is tucked away in the Postal Colony in Chembur. We are in Ram Krishna Apartments, flat 20/7. It’s a residential area, so it’s actually quite nice and green compared to the main roads of Mumbai. Being on the seventh floor gives us a decent view, but mostly we are just looking at our screens. The office is basically a converted apartment, so it feels very much like a home. We have desks in the living room area and the kitchen is where we keep all the files and the printer. Because we do events, there is always some random piece of decor or a stray cable lying around near the front door. We try to keep it quiet for the neighbors, but sometimes when a big show is coming up, we are here late talking through the details. The apartment gets good light in the morning, which makes the early starts a bit easier. We don't have a big sign outside or anything flashy. People who know us just come straight up. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when the whole team is in, but we make it work. Chembur is a good central spot for us to get to venues across the city. We’ve been in this building for a long time now, and the security guards know us all by name. It’s just a normal, hardworking office.
