Our office is right across from Rajiv Gandhi National Park, at number 13 in Borivali East. If you've ever been to the park, you’ve probably walked right past us without noticing. Shiv Travel Agency has been sitting in this spot for years. It’s a nice area because of all the greenery across the road, though the weekends get really crowded with families and tourists. We spend most of our time looking at maps and booking tickets for people. It’s a simple setup. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait and a lot of old posters on the walls. Borivali East is a busy place, and being near the park means there’s always something going on outside our door. Sometimes the monkeys from the park area wander a bit too close, which is always a laugh for everyone in the shop. We aren't a big corporate chain. It's just a few of us here trying to make sure people get where they need to go without too much trouble. We know the local train schedules and the bus routes by heart now. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to do things the old-fashioned way with paper logs. It keeps us on our toes. We like the neighborhood and the regulars who stop by just to say hello or ask about a train time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we like helping people figure out their trips.
