Shiv Siddhi Stores

Shiv Siddhi Stores is a small place in Laxmi Chawl, which is on T J Roa in Sewri. We are in Shop No 6, right in the New Subhash Nagar area. It is a very old-fashioned part of the city, especially being in Karamsar Colony. We are located right opposite Swan Mills, so we see the workers and the locals passing by all the time. The shop itself is small and packed with all sorts of general items that people need. We have been here in the chawl for quite some time, and it feels like a real community. In the mornings, we are busy getting everything ready for the early shoppers. It is not a modern store with bright lights; it’s more of a traditional local shop where you can find a bit of everything tucked away on the shelves. The ceiling is a bit low and it can get dark in the corners, but we know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors who come in for a few things and stay to talk about the news. It is a simple way of doing business, just serving the people who live nearby. Sewri has its own pace, and we just fit into the daily routine of the colony. It’s a humble spot but it serves the neighborhood well for all their daily groceries.
