Shiv Kirana And Genral Store is located at Shop No. 1 in Donald Gomes House. We are on Talaw Pakhadi Road No.3, which is in Sahar Gao, Andheri East. Mumbai is always moving fast, and this area is no different. Being near the airport means there is a lot of energy around, even if our little road is a bit tucked away. The shop is part of an older building, so it has a bit of character. We spend most of our time inside the shop, surrounded by bags of rice, dals, and all sorts of household goods. It gets quite crowded in here when the new stock arrives and we have to find a place for every single box. We don’t have much room for anything that isn't essential. The street outside can get a bit muddy during the monsoon season, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floor to keep the mud out. We know the people in Sahar Gao well, as they’ve been coming to us for years. It is just a small family-run thing, no big managers or fancy computers. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The shop is small, but it holds everything people usually need for their kitchens. It’s just a part of the daily life here in Andheri, nothing more and nothing less.
