You can find us at the Ashoka Super Market right on S V Road in Goregaon West. It’s a lively spot, to say the least. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking outside. Our shop is number 53. We’ve got maps on the walls and a lot of brochures that people usually just flip through while they’re waiting for their turn. Most of our morning is spent on the phone, checking bus schedules or looking at train bookings. It gets hectic around the holidays when everyone wants to go back to their village or take a short trip. We don't have a fancy corporate office with glass walls; it’s just a standard market stall where we’ve squeezed in a few desks. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a bit, which gives us time to chat with the regulars. The market has its own rhythm, and we’re just a small part of it. We see the same faces every day, from the chai wallah to the shopkeepers next door. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. If someone is confused about a route, we just sit down and explain it the best we can. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we do the bookings, and we head home when the shutters go down at night.
