Shinde

If you're walking down Magadi Main Road near Vrushabhavathy Nagar, you'll find our spot, Shinde. We are right here in Dadar West, which is always a busy area to be in. The shop isn't very big, but it fits everything we need for the day. Every morning starts about the same way, unloading the crates and making sure everything is watered. It can get pretty humid in this part of town, so we have to stay on top of that or things start looking wilted fast. We get a mix of people coming through—some are just passing by on their way to work, while others live right around the corner and have been coming here for years. It’s nice seeing the same faces. The traffic on the main road can be a real headache sometimes, especially during peak hours, but that’s just how it is in Dadar. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the name on the front. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the afternoon, especially on festival days when everyone is looking for the same stuff. We just do our best to keep the shelves stocked. It’s a lot of manual work, trimming stems and cleaning up leaves from the floor, but it keeps us busy. We like the location because it’s central and easy for people to find us even if they aren't looking too hard. We just keep things moving and get through the day.
