Shilpa Industries

We operate out of Shade No K 5 in the Moti Bagh Compound. It’s right across from the old R K Studio in Chembur. If you know that landmark, you can’t miss us. Shilpa Industries is a manufacturing space, so it’s loud and there’s always something being moved around. It’s a warehouse environment, not an office where you’d wear a suit. We’ve got machines running most of the day and the smell of metal and grease is just part of the air here. It’s been our home for quite a while. The compound gets pretty crowded with trucks coming and going, so you have to watch where you park. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever isn't busy at the moment. We’ve had the same crew for a long time, and we all know the routine. Chembur is a gritty part of town in some spots, but it’s where things get made. We like being part of that. The building is just a big industrial shed, nothing more. It keeps the rain out and gives us room to work. We don't bother with fancy signs or brochures. People who need what we make know where to find us. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get the production finished on time.
