Shelter Care Foundation

We are located in Flat No 1002, Wing B, over at the Fountain building in Kandivali East. It is on the 1St Cross in Hanuman Layout, right across from the big Mahendra and Mahendra Gate. Being on the tenth floor means we see a lot of the area from up here. The traffic near the factory gate gets pretty intense around shift changes, but we are used to the noise by now. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we sit and handle our daily paperwork. Sometimes the lift in Wing B acts up, so we end up waiting a bit, but that's just how it is in these older buildings. Ramachandrapura is a busy place, and we’ve been here for a while. Shelter Care Foundation doesn't have a big sign outside or a front desk with a receptionist. It is just a few of us working at our desks. We drink a lot of tea and try to get through the work without too much fuss. Most people find us by looking for the fountain, though it hasn't worked in years. We don't spend much on decorating the place because we are mostly focused on our tasks. The weather gets a bit hot in the afternoons since we face the sun, but we keep the fans going. It’s a simple setup, and we like the neighborhood well enough. We’ve been here so long we know all the security guards by name.
